Season 1: Fin

Thus completes Season 1 of Aarin's Desk, originally subtitled 'the worlds worst webcomic,' before I knew a friend of mine officially named his the same thing :P

In the last 14 months of running AD, I've learned so much about short-form pacing, panel composition, photo-'shooping,' building narrative cadence, not to mention webdesign, advertising, community-building, and blah-blah-fucking blah.

What that means, is that as fun as season one was (and I apologize for the way it one-time-a-week trickled out.), is that I'm pumped for Season Two, and taking the gloves off, so to speak. Arc 4 was pretty dry, and plot-based, but:

Starting next week (Season 2), we'll get back to the core. And the core is fun, zany discussion and antics among the disaster clutter of Aarin's Desk, and the poor souls trapped within and without. What do the Leoprids really want, and lies beyond Exodus?

If you'd asked me six months ago if I was going to present a Season 2, and push my own thin envelope in the process, I'd say no. But there's still things I can do, lulz I haven't shared. So plot aside, and plot included, Season 1 was as much an introduction to the desk as it was a full story.

We're just getting started.
