Self-congratulatory Arc 3 / 6-month celebration!

I'm always happy when I'm makin' the fotos.

Not that the manipulation and web-work has gotten boring, but it's so rare for me to pick up the digi-cam anymore, it's nearly an event each time I do. The kind of quality I'm getting now makes me want to reshoot the original cast, but I'm not going to. When I become a perfectionist about AD is the day when AD loses its meaning. My first tagline was the World's Worst Webcomic, but apparently I fail at that.

Still, even though I respect you by maintaining a baseline quality read, I must stick to my roots! After 5 months on The Webcomic List (and my 6 month AD anniversary), I've broken into the top 300. Allow me to put that into context:

Penny Arcade, Megatokyo, VGcats, Diesel Sweeties, Chugworth, Scary-go-Round.everyone is on this list. It's just not a who's who; 90% of all webcomics are listed there, nearing 9,000 in all. The best of the best and worst of the worst.

It's just a listing/hit-counter, but I started at 1,100, hung around 800 through New Years, and now it keeps moving down. So I thank you, not because it's some lame ego boost, but because all I wanted was to share a slice of visual and mental insanity with any who would view it. Photo comics get a shitty rap as it is. I'm trying to represent myself and a niche genre. I want to make it smart. I want to make something people enjoy.

So, to my silent audience, know you are in good company. Other people are reading this bullshit too.
