As far as AD news goes, I have some more plans on the horizon. Some cool goodies, some hopes to drive some real people into my bot-stuffed forums, and something that hopefully doesn't sound like a renege on one of my most heartfelt promises.

Remember when I said no paypal buttons and no google ads? Well, I meant it. I refuse to clutter these comics, A:U-main, or the Blog with advertisement I have no control over, or by insulting us both by asking for donations. I would do this without payment, I DO this without payment, and up until 6 months ago I did this without a single regular reader.

However, I considered it inevitable that I would eventually have advertisement. It's smart business sense to cover my expenses, and if I ever offer merchandise, to provide a quality product people may enjoy. So yes, without google ads or donation buttons you may see a skyscraper ad-space to the comics' left in the future. Considering I'm an anal retentive micro-manager with my web-looks, I don't believe it'll interfere, and hopefully it's always for cool-cat projects I support.

If you see a Hot-or-not or True.com ad, that means I've become a shameless whore. I am shameless, and I am a whore, but rarely both at the same time. I'm not an underground punk, but I'm also not a greedy-bitch. I hope everyone understands what that middleground is.

I'm sure most webcomikers never have this conversation beyond, "It's there, please send click-throughs." I won't even say that much.
