I have not-as-bad-as-it-sounds news for you:

This is the last arc of Aarin's Desk, Season 1.

The last 30 episodes will take us past the 1-year mark (Early October), and up to 119 total strips.

This story will conclude. AD will go on a hiatus. But the desk will live on and survivors will survive to Season 2, likely resuming January. Now what does this mean to you? 10 weeks without AD: October -> New Year's 2007.

However, you all personally have the reigns in your hands if you want a near uninterrupted transition between seasons 1 and 2. Here's the game:

Remember those 'look at two pictures' perception tests? Well, what's new about the desk? Yes, the place is trashed, but in Episode 90+ what has changed/moved in the background and scenery? It'd be too easy in color, so you'll have to deal with the blue-night-tones to draw your comparisons.

Comment in the blog with your answers and every couple unique answers (no matter who comments) will earn a new strip after Season 1's conclusion. It's not a personal contest, and the rewards are for everyone except me :P

But I don't mind. If it means you're paying attention, I'll gladly write some slice-of-life aftermath to this great conflict.

Different angles on the new stage will be forthcoming, but the deadline is when AD mayhap return to full color, if and when it does. But as a personal reward, for outstanding attention to detail, I may introduce a character of your individual choosing into season 2 and give you props in the blog, character page, wherever. We'll see how well this runs and how much competition there is.
