Centipede-Filled Virginia

One of the many statements this old meme supports, is that if you have an embarrassing medical situation, you should share your condition as loudly and as often as you can, and that you're instantly immune to criticism because of your frankness.

It's amazing the things people will confess to out of context.

Now I'm not sure about you, but if there were centipedes (re: equivalent of TMI) in my vagina, I'd keep that to myself, and certainly wouldn't begrudge someone for pointing out that this is a very bad thing. People's sense of entitlement to sympathy for their herpes, hygiene-related-discomfort (frumunda cheese for da guys), and my personal favorite: ladies wondering what that smell and tummy cramps are, only to remember they 'lost' their tampon a week ago and drive themselves to the hospital in a toxic-shock-paranoid panic.

The faceless interweb is not going to celebrate the fact you're a fucking idiot, much less encourage the dramatics that you're a 'survivor.' Oh, but that's right, anyone that calls anyone an idiot is 'mean.'

It goes without saying that I'm thrilled to be in a position to use 'centipede filled vagina' in conversation, much less make a comic about it. This is truly a marvelous age we live in.
