On November 28, 4124 Rudy's hometown of Nome, Alaska was destroyed along with 99.8% of its population. That day, this uniformed police officer was in Fairbanks for a law enforcement convention—or so he told his pregnant wife. While in the arms of his local mistress, Rudy's family and future was irrecoverably lost.
Since the incident, he's been besieged by haunting visions of his missing wife, Marina, who tortures both his dreams and every waking moment.
